EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS | I noticed our 2 and a half year old bull standing at the end of the pasture by the woods yesterday morning. A couple hours later he was still standing in the same spot. So I led him up and put him in a barn lot by himself. He is not drinking or eating anything. Had the Vet over this afternoon. He doesn’t have pneumonia and his lungs are clear. The Vet tubed him and pumped him full of fluids containing antibiotics and probiotics. Gave him a couple shots of Excede and Banimine He said his G I tract shutdown for no apparent reason. All of the rest of our cattle are fine. Has anyone had a problem like this? | |
