My kids prefer a shorter whip, both are later high school age. Few people use pipes at any shows that we attend. Lots of high flyers use the ones with the tassels on the ends but they wear out quickly and cost more money. We have bought them at TSC, or a Weaver Leather dealer. My kids go through several each year.
