Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | I have an item for sale in the classifieds here, a small item not much money.
My first mistake was I forgot to put no Texts in the listing (I have a flip phone, I receive but do not send texts).
Anyway, I get a text and the person wants to know what my bottom price is. From the text, I get a number so I call and the answering machine says it's a texting number (or something like that) but I could leave a message, so I tell them my price and that I don't text.
In a couple of minutes, I get another text that askes if a Cashiers Check will work.
Since I'd told them I don't text this kind of rubbed me the wrong way, so I broke my rule and texted back...
"Cash Works Call me".
I've heard of the sending too much money and giving the shipper a refund and then find out the check is bad......but what can this person gain on a small item? |
