SW Ohio | Just traded for a 7920 JD w/2200 hrs. While roading it home today about 35 miles it at some point blew the rubber fill plug off the hyd fill tube. It was low on oil and when filling it up it made a mess, acted like it has no vent. So now 2 questions in 1 thread
Does it have a transmission vent line at all that could be plugged up? I know for a fact some old 4x4 Deere's did not have vents and when you filled them with oil if you got too fast it would hit the shop roof when it burped!
If it doesn't have a vent, why would the cap blow off? | |
