Texas | This week I had to put new front tires on a zero turn mower. I decided to put new tubes in the new tubeless tires. It wasn’t until removing the old tires from the rims that I saw the mess left from putting slime in them maybe ten years ago. The entire surface area on the inside of the rim was rusted and pitted. And the powder coat paint sluffed off like a snake skin. What a mess! All the rust and paint remnants had to be removed in order to prime and paint. Unless it’s special circumstances I probably won’t be using slime ever again in anything. | |
