| I guess it might depend on the type of ground you have but on my ground the lime side easily pays for the grid sampling and my dealer doesn’t charge any extra for VRT spreading so why not. Before I first started with vrt on my grandfathers farm he was of the belief that you should put on a couple ton of lime every few years. We had too much of a good thing. There were places were the ph was through the roof. We were having chemical carryover issues and poor crops in those areas. It took some convincing to show him that there is such a thing as too much lime. It always amazes me when we test how many areas don’t need any. | |
