WC MN | A lot of talk about how China has become the world producer of many products. A large factor in this is a never ending supply of relatively cheap labor. With AI on the horizon, can that drastically change where products are manufactured over the next 50 years? Look at the development in technology in cell phones over the last 20 years. If we have the same type of development can we move more manufacturing here? I understand that a political mantra is always creating jobs, but lets face it, we are never going to bring manufacturing back to the US with the costs associated with labor in this country. I also don't believe that we have the human resources to pull it off. Too many people are just not going to want to work those jobs.
Just curious what others think here. | |
