NW IA | Not as smart or experienced as the other respondents, but I will throw this high $ option out.
The repairs and reconnects are perfectly good options as long as you are confident of the condition of both lines beyond what you have seen uncovered.
Option 3. Run new plastic and destroy/replace/ both clay lines if doing so insures adequate capacity and configuration for future contingencies.
Part of the reasoning behind this is A. I have patched up old stuff with a sketchy history and wished I had replaced it (i.e. shallow clay that is cracked on top and waiting to fail). B. I am lousy at visualizing the details offered in your description, not your problem. | |
