SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!

I'm no till, I'm HEL, Nearing 200 on my APH. Late season weed control is a problem in corn for me. Cane, burs and water hemp all want to come on late. I'm thinking 15-in rows should really help with that. I cannot find any logical reason that the more equidistant corn is spaced the better the yield should'nt be. In the early '70s University of Nebraska did a hand planted spacing test on corn went clear down to a 12x12-in spacing all hand work. And my memory of that work is that it showed an increase as spacing was narrowed up. Fire away boys.
