| Yes it does make sense. I figured it about had to be that way. I farm in the heart of the corn belt, not the flat black 300 bu area, but decent ground but we also have rents and input prices that seem to go up to the point where there’s not a lot of profit unless you are raising near trend yields every year. I have great respect for you guys in some of those tougher areas that can still make it work. It would probably be a very humbling experience for some of us Midwest guys to go up there and farm. That’s what I like about this sight , always neat to see how things are done in different parts of the country and world. | |
