Subject: RE: Corn Row Spacing for extreme fringe corn

Southern Missouri
36 inch would be the narrow row farmers around here, nearly everything is on 38 inch rows, furrow irrigation and our land being so flat that everyone wants their plants on as tall a bed as we can get during the cold wet periods in the spring time, taller beds dry back out and warm up faster than shorter beds, were fertile soil and irrigation is applied heavily and yields are always very good. Most all planters are mounted and 12 x 38 inch or 38 feet wide or 18 x 38 inch being 58 feet wide.
