Nw Iowa | We are kind of just north of the real dry line by maybe 10 miles. Estherville and south, a lot of guys completely done for a couple of weeks as they had 15% corn the first of Oct which is in no way normal. From state line north probably only 4-8% left until you get alittle further north ( only another 30-40 miles) and maybe 15-20% left. . Here mostly all tillage is done in the fall which I would say is 50-70% done, hog manure probably 25-40% done and fall nh3 which has just got started. As a rule we like to be done harvesting by Nov 1 within reason as our November’s can be pretty unpredictable. A lot of guys were done 7-10 days ago.
