Thanks for that info. Wife has just been fighting with a half full toner cartridge that the printer is giving low toner warnings.
So if a person is printing ordinary text vs printing pages that have a lot of toner used like pictures the printer is going to give the low toner warning no matter how much has actually been used. Good for toner cartridge sales.

yup, most go on pages only. So if you print 500 "pages" with only a . it will still give the replace cartridge command
