Sac & Story county IA | I have a generic 9 wire motor. Problem is several wire marking numbers are not home. I can find the internal star easy enough with ohm meter. Wires 4 and 5 are marked. Those should be 2/3 of the external star. I can find the other end of those with the ohm meter. Will the motor start on the internal star only hooked to power?
Motor started on internal star. Outer windings added one at a time. No surprises. Motor runs at low amps, so not fighting internally. No power going to ground wire. Seems fit to use.
