West of Lincoln a little bit | We deliver to 5 locations and don't have quite enough storage. I've done some HTAs in the past, and have a few for 2021's crop, but mostly I don't understand the hedging/rolling/watch basis thing and never seem to have enough time to babysit it anyway. So we're mostly cash sales. I'm sure I'm leaving money on the table, but playing with things I don't understand seems even more dangerous. I've tried to learn it, but I get lost in the details and have screwed it up before. Dumb marketer I guess. Also don't have a hedge account, I already know I couldn't stomach the margin calls. |
