We had a really crummy, too wet summer here. Drownouts and standing water several times.

Not very far west of me was actually too dry for a couple weeks hurt them too.

But we had a nice dry window to plant early in some very cold weather.

Got a great crop out of that.

We are in trouble if we ever get a good summer..........

So: yes. I think you are correct.
