For our soils,
4 ton of lime will take a Ph of 5.7 up to 6.7
2 ton will take it from 5.7 to 6.3
8 ton of lime will take a 4.7 up to 6.7
Buffer Ph has to do with the ability of soil to react to a given lime application.
