Have had planter fasciilitis  for at least a year.  Have went down the road of trying everything from shots, treatments, stretching, icing, heat, acupuncture, therapy.  All of that not helping at all.  

The last visit I had with the podiatrist, we are going to do a MRI to see if something else is there.  If not he said the only thing left is surgery.  Have any of you every had surgery for planter fasciilitis?  And did it help or make things worse.  I read suggestions that it can cause long term issues, thanks, Dan
