Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.

When the ECU isn't connecting to the incommand, can you plug the ethernet into a laptop(or connect via wifi) and access the steering menu that way? What are the lights on the ECU doing when it doesn't connect vs when it is connected and working?

The LEDs on the ECU are stable and not changing when it doesn't connect. I believe two are usually on indicating power and something else.

When it is going to work the LEDs do a random dance as I call it and jump around for a while. If that happens I know it is going to connect and work properly.

Since it works sometimes and not others, I think that it is a timing issue. Once it connects it will work very well.
