Subject: Farmer's Conversation In The Year 2050

North Central Kansas
Hey, you remember back in the early part of the century they used to plant a lot of crops in rows? Yeah, it was crazy! Worked fairly well in large rectangular fields but man it got plum crazy trying to harvest small irregular shaped fields especially when there were terraces and waterways involved. You spent half the time maneuvering the combine just to get the field opened up.

Sure glad they finally came up with hybrids and equipment that could harvest solid planted crops rather than screwing with those d**n rows! It was said that "we've always done it that way". :)
