| The bigger augers have 2 separate cables. I don’t know if there’s one cable for each cylinder or if both cables go around both cylinders.
If the both cables go around both cylinders nothing would happen if one broke. If each one is separate the auger should slowly drop at the rate that the restrictor at the remaining cylinder allows. If a person was in the tractor at the time he should be able to prevent it from dropping by using the hydraulics until the cylinder with the broken cable was fully extended, at which point the auger would remain in position. That’s just my uneducated guess though. | |
