Subject: Holsteins & snapledge

I have been finishing about 150 holsteins a year. I raise all of these from bottle babies, and they go onto self feeders shortly after weaning. I am planning on putting a new shed up next spring as my current facilities are Full. I am thinking about setting this new barn up to be bunk fed for more flexibility. With expanding i will need more feed storage and thinking the cheapest way would To pour a concrete pad and have a drive over pile. Also thinking i could save on protein cost by getting distillers from the local ethanol plant. So i guess my question is would holsteins finish out as well With snapledge as they would with shell corn and pellets? Also thinking by doing this i could get my Beef cows onto corn stalks sooner. Sorry for the rambling
