Put the head on the ground and raise it up while watching the graph sometimes the chains will jerk and go above 4.4 volts causing it to say the line is disconnected or or out of range. On the older heads the sensors can be adjusted. On the new ones the chain has to be shortened a link to keep from going above 4.4 volts. Dealer told me 4.3 and under is ok.
