Scott City KS
Dads planted milo in failed wheat before and it is usually fine. Typically if it doesn’t rain in the fall and winter it does in the spring and summer. 2012, 2013 and 2020 were definitely exceptions.

Just don’t spray an ALS inhibitor (ally, amber, rave etc)

Every time I’ve tried to get wheat released to plant a fall crop they won’t do it. Typically some little shower comes through and it germinates. Then they count every live plant, day it’s going to tiller four times and put on a full size head.

As far as the markets who knows. In 2014 when it went crazy there was a record high bid one day then a no bid the next. Depends on when China is done.
