I’m sure I will learn something from this falls experiments. We carry an incredible amount of weight in fertilizer on our tracked planter tractors. We also have an anhydrous tool bar that was originally on 25 inch tracks that I modified to focus the weight into 18 inches. Too much weight was being bridged to the outside areas and caused poor NH3 sealing and another compacted area for the intended crop. Plus a big sprayer on Skinnys during wet seasons is not a good combination. If we keep having issues I think my only alternative (very expensive option) would be to go with much wider tracks and cut the lugs out over the intended rows and buy tracks for sprayer (ouch).
