Mitchell, SD | Technically all the disks are outside the width of the drum. Drum is only about 2 feet wide, the ruts are about 18 to 20 inches. Depth is controlled by the drum, could fabricate a wider drum. But I agree that having some other type of shank or scraper two level soil back out from the center would be good. Need to be able to handle corn stalks though which could be a challenge. The company that makes these pivot track closers does have a hydraulic driven option that would cost over $8000. I’m wanting to make a cheaper solution. | |
