Small 4" auger from bottom of wet bin to top of air lock.
Same here except 6" auger about 16' long set in hopper under wet bin, over into the airlock, I regulated corn flow with the wet bin slide gate. need to slow auger down some, but was cheap. Wired it into the air system so would shut off if air system quit. This was a temporary set up for a couple years of dry corn harvest times. I did move the air lock over 4' for access to the wet bin, but I'm sure it be reached to a permanent air lock with a short down pipe on the auger. I ran the air system on manual by filling wet bin a while then start up system and let run while unloading trucks all day. Worked good. |
