Put the wire on left side of the braces and right side of their posts. It is done that way all the time. The idea is your end of the fence , the wires are on your side of the posts so you can see better to replace missing staples.

At least they stretched one wire for a guide so they line up post to post.


Yep that is what our intentions were. I initially stretched that wire from end corner to end corner so I could get the halfway gate braces perfectly in line with corners. He was suppose to either cut the wire and put on his side and restretch before pounding or leave it for a guide and once posts were pounded throw the single strand guide wire over the posts so it was on his half and staple up. Neither got done but not gonna change it now.
