We had a new toilet installed once, and the plumber kept the lid but trashed the rest, he said he keeps the lids for cases like yours. Maybe ask your plumber, but you said you found one already. good deal. bruce.
Ha, I did the same thing. Had about 100 plus tank lids.
People would ask for one, bring out thier broken one or a pattern cut from
card board. Spend time sorting through them and end up with five or ten bucks.
No More, they are now fill in a rock and culvert crossing.
Plus I have all that space back :) |
