 Embarrass WI | Is there any way that you could try several models? Maybe a gun club/trap range?
It's hard to go wrong, almost any modern shotgun will be reliable. You should buy the one that fits you the best, that will be the one you shoot the best with. For me, it's a Winchester Ranger pump gun. I bought it to be a cheap truck gun, and I ended up selling my Brownings and Remingtons as I shoot better with my Winchester. Not everyone is built like me so you need to, at the very least, put as many as you can up to your shoulder to see which fits the best.
I agree to stick with 12 gauge. You can easily find light loads for lower recoil or hi brass loads for more knockdown. Almost all shotguns these days have interchangeable choke tubes, don't buy one without. | |
