southern MN | Wish I could run the combine, I was looking forward to seeing how my tall beans flowed. Stupid broke rib.
Looks like I was around 55 bu average, which is really high for me my dirt is wet and high ph and hosts a lot of things beans don’t like, so over 40 is a good year here. Take away the drowned out acres and it’s really something.
Neighbor said my corn is a little uneven, which I was expecting, he said one round will show over 200, next round more like 150. He doesn’t really calibrate his monitor tho, it’s more of a reference than a real number. We just started in on corn so see how it goes. Lot of rain and not much sun through the middle of summer as well as very cold right after planting, corn had some struggles.
