Southeast Minnesota | Yes, auto swath will HELP give you the Most accurate info. Before I had it, I would make sure to have my head height settings correct and make sure to raise and lower the head right as I was exiting or entering the swath. This kept acreage and yield errors to a minimum. Also, don’t drive around with the head down low, it will add up area. Make sure you are above the harvest height maximum setting when on headlands. I would also adjust swath width when in long triangles and narrow swaths along terraces. By paying attention, I ended up with some very good information at the time. Now, I don’t need to do that.
