unless your field is 2500 acres setting your width to 30 foot instead of 29 acres is not going to get you 100 acres off on a field. now if your header height record level is maxed out and you drive around the field with the seperator on and auto swath off it may get to the extra 100 acres like you suggest. being 6-12 inches off on header width likely is not the problem.
