Subject: RE: Peanut butter?

Southern Ontario
Thanks for asking this question Red, I am confused as well.
I see '100% peanut' peanut butter in store with as low as 3 grams total carbs per serving and one with only 1 gram net carb.
So it should be a low carb food ...right? wrong? maybe?

I heard some of the keto, low carb high fat gurus that are highlighted on this site endorse peanut butter.
"Low glycemic index, favorable insulin to glucagon response, low carb" they say. One even said PB may be an almost perfect keto food.
Other, well known, keto gurus say not to eat peanut butter as they want to avoid all seed oils and nuts.
"Avoid peanut butter" they say.

What is a simple farmer, honestly wanting to improve his and other's nutrition and health to do?...... (especially if he loves PB:)
