Fulton County Ohio | A couple months ago the news said IRS was sending checks to those who paid Income Tax on time prior to COVID-19. That interest check must be with the others. Sonny Perdue said we could sign up for WHIP+ September 11, 2019 and expect payments Fall '19. Perhaps he forgot the election was in 20. The good news is there is still confidence Uncle Sam is good for his debt. The bad news is we should not have to wait over one year to get payment when we meet program requirements. In Ohio we met the H2Ohio requirements. Our Governor decided to not honor their end of the deal. We invested in equipment and performed the required tasks. Now they refuse to pay. That is one way to balance the budget. They do say there will be funding in 2021. This was a three year commitment. | |
