coast of Maine
My wife works 350 ish days as an educator .Rarely a day off unless we are away.Constant attention to it for near 40 years, one of the best. That being said I know and she knows of several slugs in the system.
What needs to be done is attention to whom becomes a teacher. In the most successful countries with public education the pathway to become a teacher starts with only the cream being allowed to train / college etc ,here its who wants to no matter your capacity to educate oneself...simple solution to a wide spread issue,,,dumb or lackadaisical shouldnt become teachers,, Its seen in Ag also but thats the checkbook only issue..
