Austin if I understand you right it's not that the cb doesn't work for you or meet your needs it's the static noise you pick up on the radio in your combine, when the engine is running that's the problem. There are noise filter devices that can be installed in your 12 V supply line to help filter the noise. I think the device itself also has to be grounded. I think there was some that connected inline on the main alternator hot wire. Some radios don't pick up the electrical noise as bad as others. Also some radios had a noise cancelling button that would help sometimes. You don't say what combine you are running and I know it's highly unlikely that you are still running a gas engine. Some alternators create more electrical noise than others.
