Garrett County, MD | Havent been able to find the answer to this in previous posts so here goes...
We've been running CBs in the combine and cart, but we have tons of electrical interference in the combine cb. It drives me nuts.
I have tried moving the antenna, running the power all the way back to the battery etc. Cant seem to stop it.
Would a Midland style radio work better so I don't constantly have the scratchy interference in my ear? I think it is related to all the monitors and electronics etc in the cab.
Also we are in very hilly terrain, rarely ever a line of sight between equipment. So I need to keep that in mind.
I don't need to communicate 20 miles, just to the cart and maybe the truck parked at the other end of the field, but there is very likely hills and trees between those pieces of equipment.
Oh and yes the cb squelch is adjusted properly...
Thanks for any help.
