Personally I believe in having everything priced no later than the following days of the Jan report, as far as I am concerned the speculation is over. Currently I would stay hedged in the front months waiting for more carry. If you have to roll its a small price to pay vs like you say the little carry. Beans should be moved and forgotten. Exports are a huge portion of the bean demand and most of that will move in the next few months so to count on a basis play there is beyond my gambling level.
