Subject: RE: Help calibrating a Cal-Cu-Dry

Thanks for the replies. We transfer hot and that is when I check moisture. We do have the TD aeration fan run so do get a little cooling before transfer but not much. Just to be able to check moisture I like to trsnsfer 3 - 4 times a day, more when trying to get things set.

GSI did tell us to lower drying time to 1/2 - 3/4; of what chart says and to raise grain temp to 140 so the Autoflow doesn't o erride the Cal-Cu-Dry. That was giving us problems as the manual doesn't tell you that.

Current,y have set point at 16.5. Grain moisture coming out of bin is running 14.5 - 15%. I'm gradually dropping my moisture calibration trying to match moisture at drop with that moisture. IIRC, I have a 5.0 offset in the cali ration, came .4 offset.
