Two thirds of the battle is realizing you’re not pleased with your current attitude and looking for a way to change it, so you are way ahead of the curve!

Some good ideas above.  I listen to podcasts through my earmuffs when I mow the yard.  I ran into this podcast called Feeling Good from Dr David Burns.

It’s free, it’s easy (listen in the cab through your Bluetooth headset), and hey, you might learn some techniques to combat ‘cognitive distortions’ through which you feel trapped.  I wanted to quit losing debates with someone about all the bad things that were happening in the world (the other person’s perspective) and this gave me some techniques to use, and I find them helpful myself sometimes.

I haven’t made a serious study, I just pull up a podcast now and then and listen.

If it helps, everyone I know is sick and tired of being sick and tired.  When I heard about the Roaring 20’s in January I didn’t realize the sound I heard was white water rapids ahead!
