I have the receipt for our concrete stave silo:
August Goes Farm Implements and Seeds Saginaw Mich.
Jan. 28 1937
1 10 X 35 Smith Silo with roof. Complete. $410
to be ready to fill before Sept. 1
I also still have the John Deere corn binder, 1941 Ford 9N, wagon, Papec silo filler, and 1938 John Deere D we used to fill it.
One of my first memories was the silo being built when I was 3 years old.
I have lots of old pictures. I'll have to learn how to post them. | |
