New to me 1020 putting on a 2188. At the left front of the feeder house is a potentiometer that looks like it works in conjunction with face plate as its swivels. It has a rectangle plug in with 3 pins inside. I have no corresponding wiring on my combine to plug into it. There is a wire there where the hydraulic hoses plug in wit a triangle plug in on the end that isnt being used for anything. Do these two belong todether? I think the field tracker might work but when you lift it up one side goes down.

So if I would pay attention when I read

the one on the left top of the feeder house should show the height of the feeder house on the A post
like 5 to 40

if plugged in and the the readout says something like 2 or a very low number
then the feeder house might not go down with the hand controls unless that is unplugged
