over taxed nebraska | the pot you are talking about is the one that levels the faceplate when the whisker switch goes 'open' that tell the tracker to quit working and level. so it is not in use while tracking, only when in raised position. the whisker switch is the box on left side of throat, on/off switch. now with that said, I just went through diagnosing my tracker tipping right when raised but worked running on ground. my pot that you are talking about was bad, thus it tipped right when raised. a new one thru mother case is $450, .... absolutely not buying that so i disconnected it which leaves the tracker in the position that it was in when u raise the head, essentially I disabled the leveler. I have a feeling yurs is disconnected for the same reason, works fine without and doesnt tip right as if it was plugged in.
