West Texas | Check to see if the union had some type of long term disability plan in place. That will usually kick in after so many days off work (typical is around 90 to 180 days). The Dr would have to fill out some paperwork for this but it is not bad. The union could also have a short term disability policy as well which would cover the gap before long term kicked in.
I dont think Medicare would pay but talk to someone about Social Security maybe that would. I have never checked into that.
