We still run riveted sections on our roadside mower. A proper rivet tool, and cordless impact actually make pretty short work of the rivets, although bolts are better.
I would go with the air-ride seat, along with things like power steering and brakes. Anymore, it is assumed tractors will steer easily, and stop. Hop on one that doesn't and you really notice.
