southern iowa
I didn't know what they were called, but if it sits on top of spreader and turns in reverse direction, then yes it helps a lot. However still need get grain flow fairly close to center, and the closer it is the better it works. It can be shut off in any position to fill a hole if needed as well, though I have only done that like once. Makes it much easer to set an auger, and saves many trips up and down the bin adjusting grain level. I would buy another if needed. It is not that fancy very expensive spreader they sell that works wonderfully, but a real help anyhow.
