Good topic. I think a lot of the questionable deductions that farmers take will rarely get questioned by the IRS--just too few auditors to catch everyone. I suppose most can "get away" with most anything they try to pull. Bigger question is then can you live with yourself knowing that you are a thief and a tax cheat? Some can, some can't.
