we did it before corn harvest, not too bad and left the feederhouse on, you need to be able to work underneath it.

remove the feeder chain and drum. note the drum is attached to a heavy frame unlike earlier models, so used a forklift to slide it out and lower to the floor. changed the drum bearings while it was out.

Lots of bolts to remove to get the big piece out. We replaced the big piece and the smaller piece in front of it. Also check the plastic wear strips at the back of the feederhouse that are inside, ours needed replaced, as well as the doors underneath at the back of the feederhouse.
