It comes down to what can some of us afford to buy at time.
I hear at the "shop" about the higher start up cost of the Macdon, and the over all yearly upkeep of them vs a 630HD flex (sorry I have green, dont bleed it, just have it)
In my case, I cut, I haul. I don't start up super early, and by dark, the semi is full, I'm tired its time to shut down. For those with a large crew and keep running....ok the extra run time the drapers give can be a big plus.
5-10 years from now when I go with next combine, perhaps I will go with a draper, we wait and see. | |
